Wildflower Golf Course: Men's golf events and specials
NEW for 2009 Season – Men’s League
Wildflower is initiating a Men’s League this coming summer, with the following tentative schedule:
16 week men’s league, every Tuesday from May 12 – Aug. 25, preferably rounds played between 1:30 – 7:00 p.m.- Rounds can be either 9 or 18 holes
- Both Gross & Net scoring every week
- Setup would be a 2-man best ball
- A team must play at least 8 weeks out of the summer to qualify for end of season awards
- League members will receive free GHIN handicaps
- To compete in Net scoring, an individual must have played at least 2 (9-hole) rounds at Wildflower or have a USGA handicap
- Patron members can use their punch cards for green fees
- Tuesday, August 25 will be the Men’s League Tournament with a 2:00 shotgun start and a 7:00 meal & awards banquet
- League fee is free for 2009
- Weekly prizes for flag events and top team
- End of season prizes for top teams (to be determined)
½ priced green fees & carts from 1:30-7:00 (choice of 9 or 18 holes).
Plans are to have two person teams, tee times will be between 1:30 and 7:00 P.M., with the possibility of playing either 9 or 18 holes. Men’s Day: Tuesday
Wildflower has designated every Tuesday from mid-May to October Men’s Day! All guys play at half-priced green fees and carts all day. Please call ahead requesting your tee times to avoid conflicting events or tournaments.
