Events Rules & Policies

COURSE INFORMATION

  1. Golf EventsShirts must be worn at all times on the golf course
  2. No outside food, beverage, or containers are allowed on the golf course
  3. Pace of play has been established at 4 ½ hours. Please cooperate with rangers and golf staff in maintaining this pace.
  4. Golf carts shall be operated in the rough areas as much as possible and follow cart paths where available.
  5. Golf carts must observe the 90 degree rule.
  6. Golf Carts are not allowed in the prairie grass or wild flower areas.
  7. Golf carts must remain at least 10 yards from all greens, collars, and tees.
  8. Only two riders per golf cart at all times.
  9. Cart drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
  10. Players use golf course at their own risk and Fair Hills Resort and Wildflower Golf Course reserves the right to refuse playing privileges to anyone not complying with course rules.

LOCAL RULES FOR PLAY

  1. USGA Rules govern all play unless otherwise specified.
  2. Prairie grass is played as a lateral hazard, and is not marked by red paint.
  3. Out of Bounds is defined by white stakes and/or fences bordering property.
  4. Stones in bunkers are deemed to be moveable obstructions, Rule 24-1.
  5. Free drop from 150 yard large rocks, Rule 24-2.
  6. Spikeless shoes required.
  7. Please play without delay.
  8. Repair ball marks on greens
  9. Replace divots
  10. Rake bunkers after play and leave the rake on the outside edge and forward side of the bunker.
  11. All yardage markers are to the center of the green.

RAINCHECKS

  • If an individual is unable to finish their round, for any reason, Wildflower will issue a rain check.
  • When redeeming rain checks, the player may either finish their round, [this option is strictly dependent on demand and availability], or use the dollar amount assigned to the rain check against the current green fee.
  • In the event that a rain check will be of no use to a participant, e.g. due to geographical restrictions, the participant will receive a gift certificate for merchandise in the golf shop.
  • No cash refunds.
